Please note that I am no expert in Graphic Design. I am not a professional, I'm merely a person who is passionate about art and graphic design. I'd like to think I have an eye for art and graphics - that I know what is aesthetically pleasing in terms of placement, color, etc. Having over six years of practice and epxierence helps too. Anyway, if you feel that any of the participants were awarded unfairly, please feel free to let me know and I will explain why I gave that person the award.

When I judge entries I look for several things. First off, the first impression is important to me, that plays a significant part in judging. I look to see how your entry flows together, whether you add the effects well (i.e. in a colorization challenge), other unique effects you've added, etc. I look at the color combination, how text is placed and how it relates and enhances the entry. Also, I also look to see if you've used the same effects over if you've enteres here often. I think that there is always room for imrpovement and changing your style.

There are several awards that I give out. I may create more catergories as time goes by, but here are the types of awards you can currently win:

PLATINUM - 1st place, the highest award you can win. However, if there are not enough entries in that challenge, I will eliminate the platinum award.
GOLD: - 2nd place, the second highest award you can win.
SILVER: - 3rd place, the third highest award you can win.
BRONZE: - 4th place, the fourth highest award you can win.

HONOR - 2 to 4 of these awards will be given out, they are lower than 1st-4th place, but still deserving.
