What is a blend you ask? A blend is when you combine two or more pictures into one, as if they were always like that. Many people add special effects, text, and brushes. At this website, using the pictures provided you would merge the pictures as if they were one. There are several types of challenges:

BLEND/COLLAGE: A regular blend challenge is a normal challenge where you merge two or more pictures into one. You can add effects, text, brushes, borders, etc.

ADD EFFECTS: An add effects blend is when a blend has already been given to you and a person adds certain effects to it such as text and brushes.

COLORIZATIONS: A colorization is when a person takes a black and white or grayscaled photo and colors it via a graphics progam. The usual attempt is to color the picture realistically, as if the picture was actually a colored photograph. It is also enhanced with some text or brushes.

ICONS: Taking a 100x100 image already provided to you, add effects to the image to be used as an icon with text, effects, brushes, etc.

RETOUCH: A retouch challenge is when a person uses a picture provided by a challenge and retouches the picture, such as by airbrushing the person's skin, hair, etc. removing blemishes. They could also tweak it by adding different make-up, changing the lighting, etc.

BEST OF ROUND: All entries within the current round will automatically be entered. Whichever one I think is best out of all of the entries will be awarded the Best in Round, whichever one I think is the most unique, amazing, etc. Don't submit entries for this challenge -- enter one of the other challenges within the current round in order to be eligible.

BLEND OF THE MONTH: For this type of challenge, a particpant submits their favorite and/or best regular blend they've made. Typically, only one particpant is given an award and their blend s displayed during the next round on the website.

ICON OF THE MONTH: For this type of challenge, a particpant submits their favorite and/or best icon they've made. Typically, only one particpant is given an award and their icon s displayed during the next round on the website.

COLORIZATION OF THE MONTH: For this type of challenge, a particpant submits their favorite and/or best colorization they've made. Typically, only one particpant is given an award and their colorization is displayed during the next round on the website.

RETOUCH OF THE ROUND: For this type of challenge, a particpant submits their favorite and/or best retouch they've made. Typically, only one particpant is given an award and their retouch is displayed during the next round on the website.
